After receiving her Masters in Instructional Design & Technology from the University of Iowa, Mary was employed by AlliedSignal (Honeywell) Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ. During her tenure at AlliedSignal, Mary worked in Technical Training and Public Affairs where she wrote numerous training & marketing video scripts, brochures, newsletters, press releases, and speeches for all management levels.

While stepping away from the workforce to raise her daughters, Mary welcomed the opportunity to volunteer for numerous community organizations utilizing her communications background along the way.

In 2008, a twist of fate brought Mary and her family back to Iowa. According to Mary, “There’s no better time than now to follow your instincts and create your own opportunity.” It's with this belief and drive that Mary wishes to apply her communications skills to help grow other small businesses and non-profit organizations. Mary's philosophy is: "Together, we can make it happen."
